Dr. Izdihar Kamal

Biography :
Dr. Izdihar binti Kamal is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She holds a Ph.D. in Radiology and Imaging from UPM and has over 17 years of experience in medical imaging, radiation physics, and biomaterials research. Her current work focuses on the development of PLGA–fucoidan–PDMS scaffolds for tissue engineering and radiolabeled polymer nanoparticles for liver cancer therapy. Dr. Izdihar has published in Applied Physics A, Radiography, and Radiation Physics and Chemistry, and has received several national innovation awards for her contributions to medical imaging optimization and material science
