
Biography :
Moaz M. Abdou is an Associate Professor of Applied Organic Chemistry at the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute, Cairo. He obtained his PhD from the University of Liverpool, UK, focusing on the synthesis of phosphinic derivatives as protease inhibitors. He has been a recipient of several international scholarships, including the Japanese MEXT Fellowship and the PIFI Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests span medicinally active heterocycles, asymmetric catalysis, and corrosion inhibitors. He is a member of ACS, RSC, ASM, and other international societies and serves as a reviewer and editor for multiple journals.
