Biography :

Dr Anna Król is an Assistant Professor and a research scientist at Oil and Gas Institute – National Research Institute (INiG-PIB) in Krakow, Poland. Her work focuses on environmental protection in the oil and gas industry, including the assessment of risks associated with mercury emissions to the atmosphere, sustainable waste management, the development of hydrogen technologies, and issues related to greenhouse gas emissions. She is a co-author of numerous scientific publications and project proposals, and actively participates in research and development activities carried out under the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes (e.g. M4ShaleGas, THOTH2, NHyra, SHIMMER, and COREu), as well as projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the National Centre for Research and Development in Poland. She collaborates closely with industrial partners, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector, contributing to the implementation of research results that address current market needs
