Biography :
Prof. Coran Watanabe is a chemical biologist with an emphasis in natural products research. Her program spans both basic and applied research, where she tackles complex biological problems and pursues therapeutic initiatives from a unique perspective. She has received research awards including a Research Innovation Award in 2003, an American Cancer Society Research Scholar Award in 2007, and a Rising Star, ACS PROGRESS, Dreyfus Lectureship Award in 2008.
