Biography :
Prof. Ahmed is a professor at the Chemical Engineering Department, King Saud University, Riyadh. He holds three US patents and has published over 280 papers and 60 conference presentations ( h-index 46). His research focuses on catalyst development, syngas and hydrogen production, and the utilization of greenhouse gases (CH4 & CO2) via reforming processes such as dry and steam reforming. His current research interests include heterogeneous catalysis, nanomaterial synthesis, chemical reaction engineering, photocatalysis, methane reforming, partial oxidation, ethylene, and acetic acid production.
