Prof. Ajith Sominanda

Biography :

Prof. Ajith Sominanda is a distinguished academic and researcher at Qatar University, where he serves as a professor specializing in biomedical sciences and immunology. His research interests focus on neuroimmunology, with a particular emphasis on autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis. Prof. Sominanda’s work investigates immune-mediated mechanisms that affect the nervous system, aiming to develop better diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. With an extensive academic background, he has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and international collaborations that advance the understanding of immune responses in neurological disorders.
