Biography :
Dr. Petr Bitnar, DPT, PhD, is a highly accomplished physiotherapist and educator specializing in rehabilitation, visceral therapy, and myofascial pain syndromes. He earned his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Charles University, Prague in 2007, followed by a PhD in Kinanthropology in 2018 and a second PhD in Rehabilitation and Kinesiology in 2022. His dissertation explored how respiration and posture affect the function of upper and lower esophageal sphincters. Since 2007, Dr. Bitnar has served as a specialist physiotherapist at University Hospital Motol and as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Clinic of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at Charles University. A sought-after international instructor since 2009, he has led advanced physiotherapy courses across the USA, Taiwan, Australia, Chile, India, South Korea, and more. His teaching focuses on myofascial pain, viscerosomatic relationships, and viscerofascial manipulation, bridging clinical practice with scientific research to enhance therapeutic outcomes worldwide.
