Dr. Hesham N. Alrowayeh

Biography :
Dr. Hesham N. Alrowayeh is an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy Department at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Kuwait University. Residing in Kuwait, he has extensive academic and clinical experience in rehabilitation sciences, physical therapy education, and evidence-based practice. He has also served in leadership roles within the department, including Acting Chairperson, contributing to both curriculum development and research advancement. Dr. Alrowayeh’s research focuses on musculoskeletal health, ergonomics, and rehabilitation outcomes. He has published studies on the prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders among physical therapists, lower back pain among radiographers, and the development of normative values for clinical measurements such as surface H-reflex recordings. His work has significantly contributed to improving workplace health and enhancing clinical evaluation methods in rehabilitation practice. Dedicated to both research and education, Dr. Alrowayeh continues to play a vital role in advancing physical therapy and healthcare delivery in Kuwait and beyond.
