Biography :

I am a PhD student in Chemical Sciences. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Gastronomic Sciences from the University of Messina, and a master’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Catania. At the same time I’m working as Quality Control Technitian at Citrofood S.R.L. I was abroad for four months at the laboratory ‘’GfL Gesellschaft für Lebensmittel Forschung mbH’’ in Berlin, Germany, where I’ve analysed additives and processindg aids in fruit juices. I’ve took part to the 11th international conference on food chemistry and technology with the poster presentation category of the study ‘’ Mineral profile of citrus fruits from volcanoes etna and stromboli (Sicily, Italy)’’.
