Prof. Marie-Michele Lord

Biography :

Marie-Michèle Lord, erg., Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR). Her research focuses on social gerontology, aging, social participation and inclusion, occupational transitions, and enabling environments. She is particularly interested in understanding how older adults and their families experience transitions throughout the aging process and in developing innovative approaches to promote well-being, meaningful participation, and inclusion. Her work adopts participatory and interdisciplinary approaches, bringing together researchers, community organizations, older adults, and other stakeholders to co-create solutions that respond to emerging needs.
