Dr. Chary-Rangacharyulu

Biography :

Dr. Chary Rangacharyulu is a distinguished physicist and the Former Head of the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.He holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics, is a licensed engineer (APEGS), and has been honored as a Fellow of the American Physical Society and a recipient of the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal.His extensive research career spans low and high-energy particle accelerators and research reactors globally, developing particle detection technologies applied to nuclear and particle physics, medical imaging, non-destructive testing, and food irradiation.An internationally recognized educator and scholar, he has served as a visiting professor across Europe, Africa, and Asia, presenting numerous invited seminars worldwide. Dr. Rangacharyulu has authored over 200 peer-reviewed journal publications covering topics from quantum chaos to medical isotopes. He has also published two major books: Physics of Nuclear Radiations (2014, Japanese translation 2022) and From Atoms to Higgs Boson (2019).
