
Biography :
Débora Goulart earned her bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil in 2008. She undertook an internship in 2010 at the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine, studying the identification of common mastitis pathogens in milk. She earned her master’s degree in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in 2014, with a focus on lactose crystallization in milk protein concentrate. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Veterinary Microbiology and Preventive Medicine at Iowa State University, specializing in antibiotic resistance and bacteriology.
