Biography :
Dr Gowthami R working as Scientist (senior scale) at ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi, India. She is a gold medalist during her under graduation, university topper during post graduation, doctoral degree program and bagged with nine awards for academic excellence. Her expertise in conventional and mutation breeding, in vitro conservation and cryopreservation. Currently she is working on in vitro conservation and cryoconservation of medicinal and aromatic plants, bulbous crops, pollen cryopreservation and embryo rescue. She has more than 85 publications to her account. She is also a recipient of Young Scientist Award -2017, Best Researcher Award – 2017, Best Young Researcher Award – 2018.
