Biography :
Raised in different parts of India ,I witnessed huge health disparities and gender inequality in health sector and became passionate to become a doctor . I take it as an advantage as it exposed me to various cultures and enabled me to sharpen my communicative skills. I received my MBBS from Amrita Institute of medicine , Kerala , India. During my MBBS, I emerged as top 5 among 100 MBBS students and gained extensive experience by participating in various medical conferences , cultural fests and in carrying out research. Through my leadership as an Assistant Organizing Secretary , we conducted a National level medical conference 'Spasht 2019' at Amrita. To better understand rural community health in 3rd year, I got an opportunity to observe and volunteer in Tribal Health hospital in Sitillingi village in Tamil Nadu. I have taken an active role in educating the public about the Covid-19, its transmission and preventive measures. I have worked in the frontline for RT-PCR testing, patient care and management and vaccination centers as well as adapting new treatment guidelines in Covid ward and Covid ICU.
