São Paulo State University (Unesp) - campus of Rosana, where she works with bioenergy in the area of generation and storage of energy from biomass, through the process of energy densification. She is the leader of BioJoule research group. She is a PhD from the São Paulo State University (Unesp) in the area of mechanical engineering in the subarea of materials, working with physical and mechanical properties of wood, as well as wood industrialization through wood panels and wood drying. Completed her master's degree in physics (IFT - Unesp) at the São Paulo State university in 1995, holds a bachelor's degree in physics from the São Paulo State University in 1993.
