Dr. Jan-Marten Sprenger

Biography :
Dr. Jan-Marten Sprenger studied biomimicry and materials science at the City University of Applied Sciences Bremen (HSB), the University of Cape Town, and the University of Bremen. After working as a research associate with the Biological Materials Group at HSB, he joined the Fraunhofer IFAM as a research associate in polymer chemistry and material behaviour. He is currently completing his PhD in production engineering at the University of Bremen. His work focusses on sustainable biocomposite development and circularity, specialising in biobased benzoxazines and recycled carbon fibre composites for mobility applications.
