Zhen Xu

Biography :

Xu Zhen is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He is a selected member of several prestigious talent programs, including the China Association for Science and Technology Youth Talent Support Project. His research focuses on high-value utilization of waste resources and chemical modification of high-performance polymers. Notable achievements include proposing cascaded upcycling , thermal gradient degradation, and fractionated degradation strategies for waste plastics. He has published over 30 papers and patents, with first/corresponding author papers in top journals such as Science and PNAS.
