Dr. Mikhail Shevelev

Biography :
Mikhail Shevelev graduated with honors from Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) in 2008 and defended his PhD thesis on coherent radiation of relativistic electrons for beam diagnostics in 2012. From 2012 to 2017, he worked as a researcher at KEK (Tsukuba, Japan) under Prof. J. Urakawa, participating in projects funded by MEXT and the Leverhulme Trust Network. Since 2017, he has been with the International Laboratory "X-ray Optics" at TPU, currently heading the laboratory. He is the author of over 100 scientific publications, including a monograph. He received the RAS Medal for Young Scientists (2018) and the Tomsk Region Duma Prize (2021).
