Husain Ahmed

Biography :

I am a Foundation Year 2 Doctor at James Cook University Hospital, having graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2022. I have a strong interest in surgery and passionate about making a difference through research. I have conducted several audits, including those on prescription of secondary prevention for myocardial infarction, VTE compliance in trauma wards, orthopaedic theatre delays, and fall prevention in elderly care. As a Muslim, I understand the importance of dietary requirements and did this research to benefit others with similar needs. My dedication to patient care earned me the Bucks Excellence Award in 2023.
