Biography :
I graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Turkey, in 2013 and completed my ophthalmology residency at Ufuk University, Ankara, in 2020. In 2018, I undertook an observership in medical and surgical retina at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. I became a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO) in 2021 and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd) in 2024. Between 2022 and 2024, I completed a Cataract and Refractive Surgery fellowship with the Refractive Surgery Alliance (RSA), USA. Since March 2025, I have been an ophthalmologist at St. Mary’s Hospital, Isle of Wight NHS Trust.
