Biography :

Alyssa H. Defensor is a first-year resident in the Department of Ophthalmology at Western Visayas Medical Center in Iloilo, Philippines. As an emerging clinician, she is committed to advancing her skills in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Her training in a major tertiary hospital allows her to gain extensive hands-on experience and contribute to improving eye health within the community. Alyssa aims to continue growing as a dedicated ophthalmology professional and future specialist.
