Dr Nailoke Pauline Kadhila

Biography :
She is a Senior Lecturer, Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology at the University of Namibia. Coordinator of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development/Southern Africa Network for Biosciences Mushroom Node hosted by Zero Emissions Research Initiatives Division at the Multidisciplinary Research. She is an academic with interests in Mycology, Microbiology, Molecular biology, Parasitology and Agronomy. Main interest is in Mycology, especially on the Basidiomycetes where most of my research is based on. Current research is on the Namibian indigenous mushrooms and plants with emphasis on those of medicinal significance, domestication, value addition and promotion of mushroom production and consumption.
