Prof. Dr. Roberto F. Speck is a physician-scientist and works as a senior physician in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Hospital Epidemiology, University Hospital of Zurich. His laboratory was the first to introduce humanized mice as a valuable HIV mouse model. The laboratory focuses on HIV pathogenesis, innate immune responses, and genetic engineering.
