Biography :
I am a researcher and Ph.D. candidate at Yonsei University, Korea, currently collaborating with the Department of Tropical Medicine and the Arthropods of Medical Importance Resource Bank. My research focuses on pathogens with zoonotic potential, including the impact of Trypanosoma evansi in camels, using molecular and metagenomic approaches. From 2018 to 2021, I completed my doctoral research in gastrointestinal tumor immunology and pancreatic cancer at Yonsei University, gaining experience in protein analysis, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, patient-derived organoid culture, and animal tumor models. Between 2021 and 2022, I worked at Cowell Biodigm, Seoul, on novel drug development and biochemical assays. Since 2023, I have been with Fujairah Genetics, UAE, focusing on cryopreservation and cloning of endangered animals, as well as molecular diagnosis and monitoring of pathogens to preserve genetic diversity. My work bridges molecular biology, wildlife conservation, and pathogen surveillance. I am eager to explore collaborations in metagenomics, parasite monitoring, and environmental health research.
