Dua Weraikat

Biography :

Dua Weraikat is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering with a distinguished academic and research background. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Concordia University, where her dissertation focused on sustainable supply chain management in the pharmaceutical industry. Dua has completed a postdoctoral research project at Université Laval, specializing in value chain coordination in the forest industry. Her academic journey includes a Master’s degree from the University of Jordan and a Bachelor’s degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Dua has received numerous awards, including the Outstanding Global Faculty Advisor Award and multiple best paper recognitions. Her research has been published in esteemed journals, highlighting her contributions to data analytics in agriculture and sustainable supply chain management. She has also co-authored several influential papers on pharmaceutical supply chain coordination and green reverse supply chains. Dua currently teaches at RIT Dubai and has held various administrative positions, including Department Coordinator and Senate Member
