
Biography :
Nina Sultanova received her Master's degree in Physics, speciality Optics, and also her Dr. Degree in Physics at the Institute of Physics of the Technical University of Wroclaw, Poland. Her thesis was on the non-linearity of the holographic recording materials. She became Assoc. Prof. in 2001 and later Professor in Physics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Burgas Prof. Assen Zlatarov University. Prof. Sultanova has been the head of the Mathematics and Physics Department for more than 20 years. Her research work is in the field of Optics, Optical materials, Characterization and applications of optical polymers. She is the Project Manager of the presented investigations carried out at the Medical Faculty of Burgas, which are supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria, NRRI 2020-2027 funding agreement DO1–190/09.08.2022, DO1–352/13.12.2023 “National Center of Biomedical Photonics”.
