Anna Kurzych

Anna Kurzych PhD, graduated with honors from the Faculty of New Technologies and Chemistry at the Military University of Technology, Poland, majoring in materials engineering and obtained her engineering degree in functional materials in January 2012. Her engineering thesis concerned the research on technical parameters of a VCSEL light source for sensing applications. In 2012, she began her master’s degree in materials engineering at the Faculty of New Technologies and Chemistry of the Military University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland, and graduated in July 2013. The topic of her master’s thesis was the research on the parameters of interferometric fiber optic sensors for high-temperature applications. She received her Ph.D. degree in optoelectronics from the Military University of Technology in 2018, presenting a thesis entitled: “Construction and Research of a fiber optic sensor for rotational seismology”. Recently, she has become an Assistant Professor at the Military University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland. Her main research interests include optical fiber interferometric sensor systems, rotational seismology, and rotational seismograph construction. In addition, Anna Kurzych designs and manufactures elements based on 3D printing. Her teaching activities are primarily focused on conducting calculation and laboratory exercises in general physics for students of all departments of the Military University of Technology.
