Biography :
Zhe Li is an Assistant Professor at ShanghaiTech University, where he established his independent research group in March 2025. He obtained his Ph.D. from Heidelberg University under the supervision of Prof. Henri-Jacques Delecluse, with his doctoral research focusing on virology—specifically the pathogenesis of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-associated cancers. His representative work from this period was published as first author in Nature Microbiology (2019) and PNAS (2021).
