Biography :
Dr. Anton Gryaznov, M.D., Ph.D., is a nuclear medicine physician at Charter Radiology, working closely with patients requiring PET/CT imaging. Having earned his degree in nuclear medicine with a subspecialty in molecular imaging (PET/CT) from the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Dr. Gryaznov brings a wealth of expertise to Charter Radiology’s PET/CT and nuclear medicine program. After earning his medical degree from Kazan State Medical University, Kazan, Russia, a top-three medical school, Dr. Gryaznov went on to pursue his Ph.D. in clinical pharmacology. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Yale University in the Department of Surgery as well as a surgical resident at the Yale School of Medicine at Saint Mary’s Hospital. He went on to pursue his interest in nuclear medicine, serving as a nuclear medicine resident and chief resident in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Highly focused on research, Dr. Gryaznov has been involved in multiple clinical research studies in pathology and the diagnosis and therapy of lymphomas and prostate cancer. His research has been published in several of the most prestigious surgical and nuclear medicine journals, many as primary author. Dr. Gryaznov is a member of several professional scientific societies including the Radiology Society of North America (RSNA), Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI), and the American College of Nuclear Medicine (ACNM).
