Biography :
Dr. Thotakura Ramesh received his M.Sc and Ph.D degrees in Material Science from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India in 2007 and 2014, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad, India. Earlier, he worked as a junior and senior research fellow at Physics Department in Osmania University. Dr. Ramesh has made novel contributions in the field of nano- ferrites and nano- garnets and nano-composites for more than thirteen years. He has prepared and characterized many nano-ferrite systems for various applications such as magnetic sensors, magneto strictive transducers, phase shifters, isolators, memory core, microwave absorbers, etc. His contributions led to over 40-refereed publications as the main author and also co-authored in various reputed international journals, conferences and book chapters. On parallel with research activity, he is involved in numerous professional activities like organizing symposia at professional society conferences. Currently, Ramesh uses the different supervised machine learning models to predict the optical band gap of ZnO based materials.
