Biography :
Dr. Giovanna da Conceição Gomes is a medical doctor who graduated from the Catholic University of Minas Gerais in 2023. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mechatronics with a focus on Digital Health, along with a postgraduate program in Digital Health at UFBA, where she also conducts research on digital health interventions. In 2024, she worked as a general practitioner at Psychosocial Care Center units. During medical school, she participated in an academic mobility program in Internal Medicine at Lisbon North University Hospital Center. Her academic interests include mental health, particularly complicated grief, as well as science communication in Microbiology. She also contributed to a meta-analysis in Oncology published in the Journal of Personalized Medicine.
