Dr. Olakunle Fatai Babalola

Biography :

I am a Plastic Surgeon with multiple certifications, including a Certificate in Project Management in Global Health from the University of Washington (June 2025), various WHO certifications in Public Financial Management and Health Financing (October 2024), and several Fellowships and academic qualifications encompassing the International College of Surgeons (June 2024), a Master’s in Business Administration(2019) Fellowship in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery (March 2014), West Africa College of Surgeons (2010), and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (May 2000). Additionally, I hold a Leadership Certificate in Adaptive Governance from Vrije University (May 2024) and received training in Advanced Pediatric Life Support and Basic Life Support (April 2024). Published 56 articles in local and international journals and has supervised multiple dissertations in plastic surgery, with a particular focus on facial and cleft surgeries, as well as reconstructive procedures for trauma and oncological defects. Currently, an Associate Professor with Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti.
