Leidisiane Ribeiro Marcon is a Brazilian radiographer living in the United Kingdom and a survivor of advanced anal canal squamous cell carcinoma. After receiving an initially palliative prognosis, she achieved complete remission and later published a peer-reviewed case report in Explore (NY) documenting her clinical journey. She is also the author of Beyond Remission: The Unspoken Reality of Cancer Survivorship, which explores the long-term physical and psychological challenges faced by cancer survivors. Through her writing and advocacy, she seeks to raise awareness of survivorship issues and promote a more comprehensive approach to cancer care.
