Biography :
Luisa Chocarro is a biomedical researcher at the Oncoimmunology Unit of Navarrabiomed-Fundación Miguel Servet-Universidad Pública de Navarra (UPNA)-Hospital Universitario de Navarra (HUN)-Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Navarra (IdiSNA), where she conducts her PhD research. She holds a Biochemistry Degree and a Master's Degree in Drug Research, Development and Innovation, both from the University of Navarra. Currently, she is studying the molecular mechanisms that drive resistance to immune checkpoint blockade in cancer, and she is developing novel immunotherapy treatments to counteract that resistance.
