Prof Bla Likozar

Prof. Blaž Likozar is the head of the Department of Catalysis and Chemical Reaction Engineering. He leads and has led several projects in multiple topics of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis; such as biomass (energy conversion, biofuels and biochemicals); activation and conversion of carbon dioxide, synthesis gas and natural gas; hydrogen production and use; pharmaceutical engineering; industrial processes and products. He was the principal partner investigator of 15 Horizon 2020 projects, was a research project leader in 5 ERDF programmes. He is the Networks for the transition into circular economy Programme board vice-chair at the Strategic Research and Innovation Partnership. Additionally, he is currently the head of 1 Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS) programme and led 5 ARRS projects, and over 20 ARRS international projects. So far he has published 3 books, 1 chapter, over 200 articles with more than 4000 citations and an h-index of 28.
