Mr. Sebastian Obeta

Biography :

Mr. Sebastian Obeta is an AI expert and researcher in the capacity of a data scientist and analyst at the University of Cambridge with a major in natural language processing (NLP), a subset of AI. I founded Applied Artificial Intelligence (AAIS) at the University of Bradford, a platform of excellence for data science capacity building and skills acquisition in northern England. AAIS was recognised as the fastest-growing innovative platform at the Leeds Digital Festival 2022. At the Leeds Digital Festival 2022, He was recognised on the D-List, a collection of exceptional entrepreneurs, innovators, thought leaders, and business leaders from various backgrounds and walks of life who are innovative and successful in their industry area. He made the list of the top 100 African business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in the UK in 2022, organised by the African Business Chambers (AFBC). He won a hackathon competition where he built an AI product that addresses domestic violence in the UK as part of PwC and UK BlackTech AI's good strategy.
