Biography :

Agostino G. Bruzzone began his engineering studies at the Italian Naval Academy and completed his Mechanical Engineering studies at Genoa University. Currently he is full Professor at Genoa University in Industrial Plants where he serves as President of MIPET (Master in Industrial Plant Engineering and Technologies) and Council Chair of STRATEGOS, the MSc in Engineering Technology for Strategy and Security. He is also MITIM Genoa, Director for the McLeod Institute of Simulation Science (an Institution with 28 Centers distributed worldwide: Brazil, China, USA, UK, Italy, France, Germany, Canada, Spain etc.) and he is General Director of M&S Net an International Network involving 34 Centers, He is also founder member and president of the Liophant Simulation and Simulation Team, Italian National Academic Representative in NATO MSG as well as M&S at European Defence Agency. He founded and directed the new R&D Track on M&S of the NATO Center for Maritime Research and Experimentation. He obtained the Scientific Achievement Award 2014.by NATO Science & Technology Organization for R&D on Command & Control Agility. He is the 10th member of the Hall of Fame of the International Society for Modeling and Simulation after scientists and engineers such as John McLeod and Vince Amico. He has written more than 300 scientific papers in International Journals and Conferences, in addition to books, technical/professional reports in partnerships with major Companies (i.e. ABB, ENI, IBM, Solvay), Agencies & Institutions (i.e. NASA, NATO, European Defence Agency, US DoD, National MoD).
