Biography :
Nurulhasanah Othman obtained her PhD at Universiti Sains Malaysia in Molecular Medicine in 2012. Since then, she joined the Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM), Universiti Sains Malaysia as a lecturer and researcher. She is an expert in proteomics, and molecular biology and specialized in neglected tropical diseases. With her expertise, she was awarded several national grants that enabled her to conduct research in the discovery of biological markers using the proteomics approach for neglected tropical diseases which eventually led to the discovery of new drugs and diagnostic targets. Furthermore, she has also published papers in renowned journals.
